Lorena has almost 20 years experience in financial services as a principal investor, asset manager and investment banker. Lorena joined NEC Group in 2018 as the Head of Debt Finance.
Between 2007 and 2015, she headed the renewable energy team at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporations where she positioned the bank as the global mandated leading arrangers of renewable energy. Her team originated and executed more than 40 transactions for a total asset value of US$13bn across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to SMBC, Lorena was head of the project finance team at Veolia Water Italy for five years from 2001. She was in charge of the development and asset management of IPP projects in the water sector supporting the successful awarding of a number of water management concessions and project financed a total value of circa US$5bn.
She worked as senior economist for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva and the Argentine Embassy in Rome from 1995 to 1999. During this time she lectured microeconomics at Link University in Rome.
Lorena Ciciriello was born in Argentina and educated in Europe. She received a BA (Hons) in Finance from the Hertfordshire University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics Lorena is a Board Member of Next Energy Foundation and the founding trustee of the Skills for Life Trust.

Adele joined Lightsource in summer 2014 as Director of Asset Management, with responsibility over the technical, commercial, regulatory and financial management a portfolio of over 800MW of solar PV plants. Prior to joining Lightsource, Adele was a Senior Manager at Platina Partner, a private equity fund specialised in renewable energy investments across Europe where she was responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of 540MW of wind and solar PV assets. At Platina, Adele was also an Investment Manager with responsibilities over the development and acquisition of solar PV projects in southern Europe. Prior to this role, Adele served as a corporate and investment bank analyst at Citi.
Adele holds an MSc in Economics for Arts, Culture and Communications Cum Laude from L. Bocconi University in Milan.

John O’Toole joined Hazel Capital in 2016 as Technical Director. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of energy industry experience. Prior roles include operations, management, and optimisation of energy generation assets including gas fired generation (large CCGT power stations), combined heat and power, district heating, wind and solar. At Hazel he is responsible for optimisation of existing solar and wind assets and technical development and optimisation of new energy storage opportunities.

Eric Weemaels Joined Foresight Group in 2017 and currently works as Technical Acquisition Manager in the London office. He has over 10 years of experience in development, procurement, construction and commissioning of renewable energy generation including onshore wind, ground-mounted solar PV and large-scale battery storage. Eric is responsible to manage all technical aspects involved in the development or the acquisition of renewable energy generation projects in the UK or in Northern Europe.
Prior to joining Foresight Group, Eric worked with Lightsource Renewable Energy as the Head of Project Delivery in charge of the construction and grid connection of more than 200 large scale PV projects across the UK. This represents a total installed capacity of 1.2GWp which has been fully Ofgem accredited under the ROC or FiT Scheme.
Eric holds a Master Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Brussels university. Eric is fluent in French, Dutch, English and Swedish.

Marta Valien joined Foresight Group in 2018 and currently works as an asset manager responsible of the Iberian solar assets of the firm. With more than ten years of experience, prior to joining Foresight Marta worked at Lightsource and Vector Cuatro. In Lightsource she worked as a project manager where she focussed on the construction and connection of a total of 80MW of PV Solar assets in the UK. She worked as country manager at Vector Cuatro, focussing on the opening of a new subsidiary and integral management of a total of 140 MW solar asset located in different regions around the world. Marta has also experience as an external advisor for a renewable energy external consultancy.

Ioannis Grammatikakis is an experienced product manager with strong engineering and business background. He is self-motivated and results oriented with broad skills including product development, people and project management, account management and new business development. He is one of the founding members of inAccess, where now holds the position of senior product manager in the smart infrastructure solutions product line, that covers the company’s management solutions for the energy and telecom markets. Dr KT Tan is the Technical Director at Viridian Solar, a UK company based in Cambridge with their renowned innovative Clearline Fusion products. For over a decade, he has been devoting his professional life to developing products and technologies for the renewable sector. He started to work with solar thermal well before the PV became a mainstream renewable solution.
As a Chartered Engineer, he specialises in new solar technologies with a particular interest in roof-integrated systems, advanced PV cell technologies and innovative mounting solutions. He is also involved in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) of large-scale commercial solar PV installations as the General Manager of Intrinsic Power.
He actively participates in the PV industry as the Chair of the MCS Solar PV Technical Working Group. He is also a member of the GEL/82 Standards Policy and Strategy Committee for PV Systems and the Industrial Advisory Panel of the Centre for Doctoral Training in New and Sustainable PV.
He is an experienced Technical Director with a demonstrated history of working in the renewables and environment industry. He has regularly been invited to speak at international conferences and events related to PV technologies.
