Gianluca was trained as an electrical engineer and has an over ten years’ experience in the wind business. He worked at some multinational companies like Gamesa, International Power and ENGIE, primarily in the area of maintenance and construction.

Currently he is a senior manager in charge as head of maintenance of the most extensive Italian wind portfolio with ERG Power Generation, the asset company owned by ERG SpA, an Independent Power Producer 100% from renewable sources.

He is leading an organization of skilled technicians, coordinators and back office employees, operating around 1GW which have as target the full maintenance services, including BoP, on the whole Italian fleet of ERG, which is constituted by around 1000 WTG of different size, type and brand, out of Vestas, Nordex and Senvion.

Marco has a degree and a PhD in industrial engineering. He started in the wind business of ERG in European Asset Management, coming from the oil refining business. Currently he is leading the Production Optimization dept. focused on the predictive maintenance on ERG Assets all around Europe. The predictive maintenance concept inside ERG Power Generation starts with the monitoring of the CMS and SCADA, but also involves the complete chain, including: on site endoscope and vibration inspections, spare parts management and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance: all these activities and skills are completely integrated and internalized inside ERG Power Generation. In this way EPG operates and maintains his complete fleet in Italy and of a large part of the European fleet.

Melissa Stark is a Managing Director in Accenture with over 23 years of experience working across all sectors of the energy industry and focuses on R&D/technology, investment and decision support and supply chain, having worked on projects in U.S, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Melissa led the development of Accenture’s Clean Energy and Unconventionals practices and Accenture’s PoVs on Natural Gas/LNG. She is now the Global Lead for Renewables.

Melissa has authored more than 40 papers and articles over the last 10 years. Her latest paper, “New Value New Prospects: The Future of Onshore Wind Operations and Maintenance”, was released in May 2017. She has presented her papers at Energy conferences around the world, including US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, France, Spain, Poland, Germany, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, South Korea, China, Russia, and Argentina.

Melissa has a MBA with Distinction (Honours) in Transportation Management from Northwestern University where was the recipient of Transportation Management Top Student Award. She also has a BSc (Honours) in Finance from the Haas School at the University of California at Berkeley where was the recipient of the Finance Award. Melissa has served as Assistant Chair of Technology for the US National Petroleum Council study, Advancing Technology for America’s Transportation Future. She is a Fellow of the Energy Institute.

Keegan works as a senior analyst in the wind energy team; looking at policy, technology and financing. Recently Keegan has focused on researching investor return expectations for both equity and debt providers, the required investment and the future sources of financing for the onshore and offshore wind sectors. Keegan also compiles the bi-annual Bloomberg New Energy Finance wind turbine price and operations and maintenance indexes.

Prior to joining Bloomberg New Energy Finance in 2013, Keegan completed an MSc in Carbon Management at the University of Edinburgh. His research focused on addressing power sector emissions, grid infrastructure and renewable energy deployment in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Previously Billy spent 6 years as Managing Director of ENERCON Services UK, in which time the company grew from 25 employees to over 200, working with a wide spectrum of clients from utilities to community groups and private owners.

Mr. Gary A. Mc Intyre is the Managing Director at GMDeco Wind in Denmark, where he is leading and managing the company’s global Projects for Onshore & Offshore Decommissioning of Electrical Installations. Mr. McIntyre has a strong business mindset and expertise within project management and has been the Director for NKT in the field of Asset Management Services.

He has a BSc. from the Southern University of Denmark in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from Technical University of Denmark in Management of Technology, which has a focus on Leading Innovation, Strategic Growth & Leading and Managing Organizational Change. Throughout his career he has been involved in many different types of innovative international projects both in the wind sector and other industries.

Mr. Mc Intyre is also on the Board for; Society for Health, Welfare and Technology at IDA (Danish Society of Engineers) since 2009. Through IDA he creates awareness and drives the focus on the impact of innovative technologies and its possibilities within societal trends.

In his spare time Mr. Mc Intyre dedicate his time to coaching and activating kids through sports by arranging and participating in various camps. His philosophy has always been to motive people professionally and in a social context – through an innovative mindset and environment, everyone will benefit in the most positive way in whatever they strive for.

Axel Ringhandt has been working in wind energy for more than 16 years. After his recent position as Branch Manager Wind at Bachmann electronic, Austria he now heads project management of the Bachmann Monitoring GmbH subsidiary.

He studied naval architecture at Hanover Technical University and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After his diploma he participated in a 3-year UNIDO energy-related joint project with Nafinsa in Mexico to continue thereafter as project engineer and manager in large international plant building projects in the chemical, energy and automotive industry. Before joining bachmann, he led the operations division of one of the larger German windfarm operators with some 450 MW in over 40 wind farms. He is active in various standardization groups for wind energy.
